Welcome to my world. I’m Tyeisha Humphrey and this is my online home where you can take a peek into the ramblings of my brain.
Who Am I?
I am many things to many people, but one of the things that remains constant is that I am a storyteller and a writer. I love to see what worlds I can create with words. I enjoy grabbing a good book and losing myself in prose.
I am a dreamer with tons of ambition. I love that America is a place where anyone with initiative, ambition, and the courage to take risks can become whatever their heart desires.
And, my family is my foundation. I am a firm believer that family comes first. Whether it is the family you were born into or the family you’ve created through trusting friendships. Life is better with strong community ties.
What will you find here?
I created this blog to share my thoughts on subjects in my life that are important to me.
I’d love to promise you that I will be laser focused with the posts that I create but I’m going to be transparent and let you know I can offer you no guarantees. Yes, my inability to focus is something I am working on.
But, these topics will be staples:
Fitness – I am on a mission to take my health back. I want to see my abs for at least once in my life.
Foreign Language – I am a lover of language. I have been learning Spanish all of my adult life.
My Life – My personal life includes many roles, struggles, and experiences. So, I’ll let you know what is happening in my world.
My Opinion – I will be posting personal opinion essays and commenting on current events. (Note: The goal for me is to practice and improve my ability to support an argument and improve my ability to be impartial. So, I will often write an opinion essay from a side that is actually contrary to my own opinion.)
How Often Do I Update This Site?
I usually write a new article at least once a month. Subscribe to my newsletter if you’d like to stay in touch and receive updates.
Well, if you’d like to know more about me, then pull up a chair and get comfortable.
